Mission Statement / Philosophy
Our job as a swim team, first and foremost, is to mold our swimmers into quality individuals. Brookside Bullfrogs are respectful, kind, generous, caring, supportive, encouraging, disciplined, and passionate. Our philosophy is different than many teams, whose main purpose is to produce athletes who simply win the race. Our swimmers will win just as many races, but we will emphasize that our swimming champions will be champion people as well.
An unwavering focus on sportsmanship, self-esteem, and belonging will be found at Brookside. We strive to instill the love we possess for our life-long sport into our swimmers. We look to inspire our swimmers to practice hard, swim with heart and never lose sight of the fact that we are at Brookside to have fun!!
